(Moncton, NB) – August 16, 2016 - The Atlantic Cancer Research Institute (ACRI) is pleased to welcome Dr. Sylvain Mailhot as an Associate Researcher.
Dr. Sylvain Mailhot is an anatomical pathologist and hematological pathologist with vast expertise in the clinical field. He his passionate about oncology, particularly molecular pathology. Over the years he has been a consultant for many regional and academic hospitals in Quebec and New Brunswick. He routinely uses digital pathology in his practice.
“The addition of Dr Mailhot’s expertise and skillset in pathology to our team will enable us to pursue our objectives of precision medicine research in a more comprehensive manner.” explained Dr. Rodney Ouellette, President and Scientific Director of the ACRI. “Dr. Mailhot’s input will allow us to better correlate information from multi-parametric sources be it genomic, proteomic or cellular as we continue to research and develop new technologies that we hope will improve patient outcomes. We are very fortunate to have him on the ACRI team.”
