Moncton, NB - Friday, August 9, 2019 - Assumption Life has donated $ 60 000 to the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute (ACRI) as part of its annual Greater Forth for Research Golf Tournament !


For the third year in a row, former National Hockey League player Guy Lafleur was present at the Tournament. Famous # 10 met with the teams, participated in a photo session, and gave a speech and answered questions in the evening.

The funds raised at this tournament will allow ACRI to continue their research and thus contribute to improving the care of cancer patients and ultimately find a cure for this disease that afflicts so many families across the country.

Since 2001, Assumption Life has contributed more than $ 1.6 million to the Institute.

Moreover, Assumption Life is extremely proud of its values ​​of mutual aid and community involvement, which are reflected each year with substantial contributions to many causes.
